The short version:
1. The free trial comes first
Every new subscriber gets 14 days of Fettle free — long enough for the Engine to make its first adjustment to their targets. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. We'd rather you decide with the product in your hands than with a refund form.
2. Where you're billed matters
Fettle subscriptions are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — not by us directly. That means refunds for charges are processed by the store, under its policy:
Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID you subscribed with. Apple decides refund requests under its own terms.
Google Play: request a refund from your Google Play order history or via Play support. Google decides under its own terms.
We can't issue refunds for store-billed charges ourselves — but if you're stuck, email support@fettle.fit and we'll help you through the store's process.
3. Cancelling
Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
4. Your statutory rights
Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off right for digital subscriptions, which you exercise through the store you purchased from. Where you've consented to immediate access, the store's process reflects how that right applies. Nothing in this policy reduces your statutory rights.
5. If we get something wrong
Billed in error — for example charged after cancelling, or double-billed? Contact support@fettle.fit with the receipt and we'll make it right, working with the store where needed. Errors on our side get sorted, not defended.
