1. Who we are & what this covers

These terms govern your use of the Fettle mobile application and the fettle.fit website (together, the "Service"), operated by Fettle Fitness Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What Fettle is — and isn't

Fettle is a wellness and nutrition-planning tool: it estimates calorie and macronutrient targets, plans meals, supports grocery ordering, and adjusts targets over time. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Your use of the Service is subject to our Health Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

3. Eligibility & your account

• You must be 18 or over to use Fettle.

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.

• Information you provide (weight, activity, goals) must be accurate — the Service's outputs depend on it.

4. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

• Fettle is a subscription service: a 14-day free trial, then £99.99 per year or £14.99 per month (pricing may change with notice; existing subscribers get advance notice before any increase applies to them). The subscription is purchased at the point the free trial begins, and the price that applies to you is fixed at that point. Where a founding-member rate is offered, it is limited to the first 1,000 subscribers, is fixed when your free trial starts, and is held for as long as the subscription remains active and uncancelled — it ends if the subscription lapses or is cancelled, including cancellation during the free trial.

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their payment terms. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• Cancel anytime via your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation stops future billing; you keep access until the end of the paid period.

• Refunds are handled as set out in our Refund Policy.

5. Grocery ordering via third parties

The grocery basket feature hands your ingredient list to a third-party grocery provider. Your purchase of groceries is a contract between you and a third-party grocery provider, under their terms. We are not responsible for grocery pricing, availability, substitutions, delivery, or product quality. Ingredient availability may affect how closely the basket matches your plan.

6. Acceptable use

Don't: use the Service unlawfully; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or the Adaptive Engine; share your account; misuse the Service in ways that could harm other users or our infrastructure; or use outputs to provide commercial nutrition advice to third parties without our written agreement.

7. Intellectual property

The Service — including the Adaptive Engine, app design, brand, and content — belongs to Fettle Fitness Ltd or its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own nutrition. Your data remains yours; you grant us the licence needed to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Estimates & no guarantees

Calorie, macro and trend outputs are estimates. Individual results vary and depend on factors outside the Service's control. We don't guarantee weight-loss or other outcomes.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that, we are not liable for: losses caused by inaccurate information you provide; third-party services (including app stores and grocery fulfilment); events outside our reasonable control; or indirect losses. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period.

10. Ending or changing the Service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; if we discontinue the Service entirely, we'll give you the chance to export your data. We may update these terms — material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales. Nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.
